Bucerías man faces charges over 89 sea turtle eggs
Federal prosecutors say a man stopped by state police in Bucerías was carrying 89 sea turtle eggs freshly taken from the beach. A judge sent the case to trial for a crime against biodiversity; sea turtles and their eggs are protected in Mexico.
