The aqueduct meant to bring water to Sayulita and Punta de Mita is still waiting on approval
Nayarit's governor says talks with Conagua and the federal government continue over the planned 2-billion-peso line from El Colomo to Punta de Mita. Meanwhile the town water utility says wells serving Sayulita and nearby villages are overdrawn, so rationing and water trucks continue.
