Hurricane warning for Simón now reaches Punta Mita
The NHC expects Simón to approach the coast as a major hurricane on Saturday, with hurricane conditions from Saturday evening or Sunday. The warning runs from Punta San Telmo to Punta Mita and may be extended; heavy rain, flooding and dangerous surf are forecast.
