Possible storm Simón could pass close to the coast this weekend
Jalisco civil protection says a low moving northwest off southern Mexico may become Tropical Storm Simón, possibly a hurricane, and come near the Jalisco and Nayarit coast on Saturday or Sunday. No watches are posted yet; expect heavy rain, gusts and rough surf.
