Punta Paraíso's developer says it was blocked from shoring up the San Pancho towers
Pacific Lifestyle Properties says Protección Civil and firefighters kept its specialists from propping up the towers before they partly collapsed. A federal court denied its amparo on October 7, finding the buildings sit on land reclaimed from the sea; the company plans more appeals.
