Simón weakened to a category 1 hurricane early Tuesday while staying near the Nayarit and Sinaloa coasts. Expect 50–75 mm of rain on the Nayarit coast, gusts up to 70 km/h and waves of 2–3 m, with possible flooding and fallen trees.
