Simón's eye is forecast to come ashore south of the bay on Sunday
Saturday evening forecasts put Simón's centre making landfall south of Cabo Corrientes on Sunday rather than crossing Banderas Bay. Jalisco keeps Puerto Vallarta at maximum alert, and 150–300 mm of rain could bring flash floods and landslides.
