Hurricane Trudy forms far to the south and could near west-central Mexico this weekend
Early Thursday Trudy was a category 1 hurricane about 735 km south-southeast of Manzanillo, moving northwest. It is forecast to become a major hurricane on Friday and approach southwestern and west-central Mexico this weekend; no watches are up yet. Follow official updates.
