Trudy moves away and Mexico lifts its storm warnings

Mexico dropped all hurricane and tropical storm warnings on the Pacific coast late Sunday as Trudy, still a category 2, drifted northwest toward the south of Baja California and was forecast to weaken quickly. Puerto Vallarta has stood down its storm command post.
