Vance fades offshore, with rain mostly to the north and rough surf still on the coast

Early Thursday, Vance was about 290 km west-northwest of Cabo Corrientes with 65 km/h winds and was due to become a remnant low later in the day. No watches are in effect; the heaviest rain is forecast for Sinaloa and far northwestern Nayarit, and swells can still bring dangerous rip currents.
