Vance weakens to a tropical storm and turns rain toward western Nayarit
Early Monday, Vance was about 570 km south of Cabo Corrientes with 100 km/h winds, moving slowly northwest. No coastal watches are in effect; the hurricane center expects 5 to 10 cm of rain in western Nayarit and Jalisco through Thursday, with dangerous surf and rip currents.
